Deborah is a trained Systemic Therapist who has extensive experience working in charity, local authority children's services, and latterly in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Psychotherapy and Family Therapy disciplines for the last 15 years.
Deborah is registered to practice with Social Work England as a qualified social worker originally and is a member of the Association of Family Therapy. Deborah practices in accordance with the ethical, training and supervision requirements of both bodies.
Deborah is an experienced Practitioner in the systemic family therapy and psychodynamic approaches, and has special interests in working with whole families, under fives and their parents, and parent work.

Deborah enjoys regularly updating her practice skills through supervision and training, and has offered training to others. Her training experiences include training in Psychodynamic Therapy to diploma level, Under Fives approaches and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Over the last two years she has attended the Systemic Attachment Narrative and the Family Based Anorexia Nervosa training, alongside numerous systemic practice workshops.
Deborah endeavours to create a welcoming, safe, respectful and confidential space in conjunction with her colleague, Tracey Wright, to help families who are experiencing psychological and relationship challenges. Deborah values the contribution of each of the family members, whatever their age, and strives to facilitate change through working together as a team with Tracey and the family.
